Schocks for the 309D campervan

Post by Chrisrccolleman on Wed Apr 02, 2008 1:16 pm

The campervan has been wiggling and waggling when driving for quite a long time now.
So I decided on some new schocks.
I got myself some cheapo monroe schocks.
It drives better, but I expect they won't last a long time.

Your thoughts on monroe van type schocks???

Hello
We supply van parts to customers here in the USA. I have checked with Daimler and the only shocks available through them are the Monroes. They list P/N's for Sachs and Bilstein but they are not available.

So if that's the case and monroe is the OEM supplier for those schocks.

Then I probably replaced the originals. When I took the worn schocks out some of them had a monroe sticker on them.
Ah well now I can clame I've got the OEM wobble grinning
